Spring Is In The Air….

talyllynsmall

Today i decided to go for a walk, the weather has been very pleasant with clear blue skies although very cold still, I walked around Tal-y-llyn Lake on the look out for some babys and maybe a little early spring lambs. There is a quite a few now and with a little patience, a long lens and sitting in a field for an hour or so i got quite a few good images. I have converted a few of these to black and white to make them a little more interesting.

The area is still quite probably due to weather issues but i am sure as the weather improves more and more people will come to visit this amazing part of Wales……….!!

and there was more……….!!

snow that is, we awoke this morning to fabulous looking Tal-y-llyn with a nice covering of snow everywhere, it must have been 3 or 4 inches deep on the gatepost, I was lucky enough to be able to grab a few photographs before the early morning sun melted the snow away. I had a walk onto Dol Idris car park and was shocked to see so many people getting ready to ascend the Minffordd Path.

on another note i noticed this afternoon a chap jumped from the top of cader idris somehow as we saw him paragliding above Minffordd Hotel down into the dol idris car park area, that must be an amazing view and experience, i wasn’t quick enough with the camera unfortunately
