This attractive family farm Camping Site and Caravan Park is set amid beautiful mountains by a stream at the foot of the famous Cader Idris Mountain, in the Snowdonia National Park. It is ideally placed for a happy, relaxing family holiday.

The valley of Talyllyn is renowned for its breathtaking views. There is something to interest all the family such as walking, rock climbing, fishing, sailing on nearby lake, Pony trekking, swimming at Tywyn, tennis, golf all within reasonable distance.

Touring around the area can take you to local Slate Mines, Craft Centres, Museums, Historic Buildings, Reservoirs, Nature Walks and a Centre for Alternative Technology.

AWARDS:

Cwmrhwyddfor Camping and Caravan Park was first opened in the 1970’s and since then has had many awards. The more recent award being voted a top ten Camping Site in North Wales for 2008/2009 by the Daily Post Newspaper.

ONSITE FACILITIES:-

30 Tourers/Motorhomes, (Including Seasonal Pitches), 30 Tents, 30 Electricity Hookups, Toilets, Razor Points, Hot Showers and wash basins with hot water supply, Chemical Disposal Point, Pets Allowed (to be kept on a lead).

The site is well situated for shopping at nearby villages and towns.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE:

The Farm Site is kept exceptionally clean and tidy and is situated on the A487 Dolgellau to Machynlleth road

IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING WITH THE AIDE OF A SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEM OR GOOGLE MAPS THIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE LAKE SIDE ITSELF HOWEVER WE ARE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1 MILE FROM TAL-Y-LLYN LAKE. DO NOT TAKE THE B4405 to Tywyn
