Snow Snow Snow……..!!

How cold has it been just recently……….?? We are averaging around -5 over night at the moment and we are lucky if the temperature rises much above freezing during the day even when the sun is out. We haven’t had many issues with snow at all yet, i guess we are very lucky, however on the mountain tops and especially towards the peak of cader there is a good coating of the white stuff.
This impressive image has been sent to me by Pat Morgan who on the 3rd January 2010 braved the temperatures and climbed up cader with around 8 friends. This gives a good view from the summit of cader looking back at the team coming up from the Foxes Path (serious winter path at the time) looking over to the summit of Snowdon
