Be Spellbound at Corris this Christmas

PRESS RELEASE

Be Spellbound at Corris this Christmas

Corris Craft Centre has always been known as venue for finding really special Christmas gifts and this year sees the arrival of an exciting new range of products with the opening of the Spellbound Herbal Shop.

Using natural home-grown herbs Sarah Dyer, owner of Spellbound Herbals, produces potions, creams and products to treat a myriad of ailments. Amongst the many products available in the Craft Centre workshop you will find medieval skin lotions and oils for moisturising and soothing the skin, aphrodisiacs that the ancient Greek and Roman civilisations used, Egyptian remedies similar to those found within the ancient Pyramids, stress relieving pillows, sleep problem sachets, mental agility herbal rub oils (particularly useful at exam time!) and even ancient love potions.

A special Christmas range will be produced to include mulled spice soaps, clove pomanders, cinnamon and clove oils for burners and cold and flu herbal tea mixes.

Visitors to the brand new workshop can also have a go at making their own herbals with expert advice from Sarah.

Making your own Crafts is widely available at the Corris Craft Centre and a perfect solution for unique and unusual Christmas presents. Drop in to paint pottery and dip candles or book a workshop to make rustic furniture and hand made personalised Christmas cards.

Special Christmas Shopping Weekends will take place on the 12th and 13th and 19th and 20th December. Find an inspiring selection of hand made quality gifts in the ten craft workshops.

The special Christmas Shopping Weekends will also feature an Underground Santa’s Grotto. Visitors will travel, by boat, to the Underground Grotto to meet Santa. Children receive a present from Santa whilst adults enjoy a warming glass of punch.

The Café at Corris Craft Centre will be serving up a tasty selection of Christmas Specials including Thai Turkey Curry, Christmas Welsh Rarebit with Cranberries, mince pies and Christmas cake.
